Lisa Lân or Fair Lisa is a traditional Welsh folk-song. It is a lover's lament about his lost dead love, Lisa. Lisa Lân is a hauntingly beautiful melody and has been covered by a number of popular artists including Cerys Matthews and Katherine Jenkins. It was used extensively within the soundtrack for Paul Haggis's 2004 film Crash, a tense race relations film set in Los Angeles. This beautiful melody has been superbly arranged for wind band and percussion by Dan Price. Percussion plays a key role in this arrangement and includes, unusually, a part for acoustic guitar or synthesizer.
